Frank Crotinger, 10th grader at TRECA Digital Academy, recently made a trip to Houston, Texas with his church to help victims of hurricane Harvey. When they arrived, they could immediately see the destruction. There were piles of drywall, cabinets, bathroom sinks, toilets, and furniture sitting on the curb of every house. They quickly went to work moving all the bad furniture to the curb, removing drywall, and treating the mold. Frank shared, “In many ways the clean-up is worse than the hurricane itself, and the hurricane victims could still use a lot of help! They’ve never been put in a situation like this before and it requires a lot of time and money.” He admitted that the trip was a lot of hard work, but by the end, he was really glad he went.
Thank you for sharing your trip with us Frank! It sounds like you made a big difference in the lives of many!
