Test Preparation
This course helps students prepare for the rigors of writing involved with the English section of the ACT.
The ACT measures high school students’ academic readiness for college in the areas of English, mathematics, reading, science, and writing (optional). The ACT is a timed test. All college and universities accept the ACT test, although some may require a minimum composite score for entrance.

ACT WorkKeys
Students in this course will receive guidance and support to help increase their placement in the mathematics portion of the ACT WorkKeys assessment.
WorkKeys is a skills assessment that helps employers select, hire, train, develop, and retain quality workforce. The assessments can help individuals learn more about their strengths and weaknesses to help build a career pathway. Successful completion of WorkKeys assessments in applied mathematics, locating information, and reading for information can lead to earning the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
Accuplacer
This course offers students an opportunity to improve their mathematics skills in preparation for the Accuplacer assessment.
Accuplacer is an untimed college-readiness assessment in the areas of reading, writing, math, and computer skills. These tests help you and your college assess your academic skills for proper placement in college courses.

GED
The mathematics portion of the GED focuses on general math skills and problem-solving ability. Students will need to assess short readings which often include graphs, charts, or figures. The test, and consequentially this course, does not touch on calculus or trig, so students shouldn't be worried about these higher-level maths. Our course equips students for the test's emphasis on working with numbers, decoding story problems, and working with data to solve problems in algebra and geometry.
The GED is a high school equivalency diploma, which covers math, science, social studies, and reasoning through language arts. The GED is designed for people who, for various reasons, did not graduate from high school but want a certificate equivalent to the traditional high school diploma. This is a timed assessment.
The GED Science course covers a variety of scientific knowledge, starting with the Scientific Method, chart evaluation, and graph assessment. The materials will then marry together concepts from Earth and Space Science, Life and Physical Science, Biology, and Chemistry for a well-rounded Science review.
